Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Volodymyr Zorin, an individual developer in Ukraine, who makes Deletti under the name Zorrin Apps. In these terms, “I” and “me” refer to the developer. The terms apply to the Deletti app, Deletti Pro and this website.

When you download or use Deletti, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the app. Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. If the two documents conflict, these terms apply, to the extent that Apple’s rules allow it.

What Deletti does

Deletti helps you find, review and delete photos and videos in Apple Photos. It does not clean caches, drafts or projects inside other apps. What the app can do depends on your device, your iOS version, the Photos access you give it and the media in your library.

Your license

I give you a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable license to use Deletti on Apple devices that you own or control, as the App Store Usage Rules allow. You may not copy, modify, resell or reverse engineer the app, except where the law allows it.

Your media and your decisions

Your photos and videos stay yours. Use Deletti only with media that you have the right to manage.

Groups, similar shots and “Best” suggestions help you review. They do not guarantee that an item is unwanted, identical to another or the best choice for you. Check each item before you delete it. You are responsible for the items you choose to delete, share or edit.

Deletion and recovery

A left swipe puts an item in Deletti’s Trash. Deletti deletes nothing from Apple Photos until you confirm the deletion in the system dialog.

If you use iCloud Photos, a deletion also removes the item from your other devices that use the same Apple Account. Apple normally keeps deleted items in Recently Deleted for 30 days. Apple can remove them earlier, for example when your iCloud storage is full. After that, I cannot recover them.

Deletti is not a backup tool. Keep a backup of the media that matters to you before you delete anything.

Storage figures in the app are estimates. The space you get back can be different, because of iCloud optimization, Recently Deleted and the way iOS reports storage.

Free version and Deletti Pro

The free version lets you browse, sort and review your whole library without limits, including Clutter, the game and the Trash. It lets you delete a limited number of files from Apple Photos, as the app shows. After that, deleting more files needs Deletti Pro.

Deletti Pro removes the deletion limit. It is available as:

Monthly. An auto-renewable subscription. New subscribers can get a free trial.
Lifetime. A one-time purchase for one person.
Family Lifetime. A one-time purchase that you can share with up to five family members through Apple’s Family Sharing.
Family upgrade. A one-time purchase that lets a Lifetime owner share Pro through Family Sharing.

The app shows the current price of each plan in your local currency before you buy. Prices can differ between countries and can change over time.

Subscription terms

Apple charges the payment to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
If your plan starts with a free trial, the trial length shows in the app before you start it. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the subscription starts and Apple charges the monthly price.
A free trial is available once per Apple Account.
The subscription renews every month, unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Apple charges the renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
To manage or cancel your subscription, open Settings on your device, tap your name, then tap Subscriptions. You can also open it from Settings in Deletti.
When you cancel, Pro stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
If the price changes, Apple tells you in advance, as its rules require.

One-time purchases

A Lifetime or Family purchase has no recurring payment. It gives you Pro for as long as Deletti is available and supports your device and iOS version. It does not promise that the app will run on every future device or version of iOS.

A family member gets Pro only while they are in your Family Sharing group. Family Sharing must be set up in your Apple Account.

Restoring purchases and refunds

To restore your purchases on a new or reset device, sign in with the same Apple Account, open the Deletti Pro screen and tap Restore.

Apple handles all payments and refunds. To ask for a refund, use reportaproblem.apple.com. I cannot issue refunds myself. If Apple refunds a purchase, Pro ends for that purchase.

Acceptable use

Do not use Deletti against the law. Do not try to bypass the free limit or the purchase checks. Do not interfere with the app or misrepresent who owns it.

Apple

These terms are between you and me, not Apple. I am responsible for Deletti and its content, not Apple.

Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for Deletti. For support, contact me.
If Deletti does not conform to a warranty that applies by law, you can notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price. To the extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation for Deletti.
I am responsible for claims about Deletti, including product liability, legal compliance, consumer protection and intellectual property claims. Apple is not.
You confirm that you are not in a country under a U.S. Government embargo, and that you are not on a U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
Apple and its subsidiaries are third party beneficiaries of these terms. Apple can enforce them against you.

Ownership

Deletti, its design and this website belong to me. Apple, iPhone, iPad, iCloud and App Store are trademarks of Apple Inc. Apple does not endorse Deletti.

Warranty and liability

I work to keep Deletti reliable, but I provide it “as is”. To the extent the law allows, I do not promise that it works without errors or interruptions, that it frees a specific amount of space or that deleted media can be recovered.

To the extent the law allows, I am not liable for lost data or indirect damages from the use of Deletti. My total liability is limited to the amount you paid for Deletti Pro in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer that the law does not allow me to limit.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using Deletti at any time by deleting it. If you seriously break these terms, your license ends. Sections that by their nature should continue, such as liability and governing law, stay in effect.

Governing law

The laws of Ukraine govern these terms. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in its courts.

Changes to these terms

I can update these terms when the app or the law changes. I will post the new version on this page and revise the date at the top. If you continue to use Deletti after a change, you accept the new terms.
